Weekend Update - 10.25.26

Good afternoon, and welcome to our Weekend Update.

For some sad reason, Democrats continue to fight us on our efforts to root out waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. They fought us recently on the House floor when we passed the PROOF Act, legislation that would root out fraud and require state governments to support efforts to do so.

This fraud is happening right here in our Commonwealth, where the DOJ charged 19 defendants in an alleged Medicaid and Medicare home health care scheme involving more than $4 million in fraudulent claims. Pennsylvania’s SNAP error rate is 11%, wasting $440 million per year. This is what is at stake this year: accountability & transparency v. waste & fraud. Thank you to the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce for hosting Tuesday's congressional debate, and to those who respectfully attended in person or tuned in live.

On the debate stage, I stood on my record of delivering results for the people of Pennsylvania’s 9th District through legislation that strengthens our nation and economy, highly effective constituent services, and securing funding for and managing critical projects throughout our communities.

My opponent, meanwhile, was long on lies and short on substance. Rather than standing on her own record, she continued to hide from it while resorting to outright fabrications about mine in an attempt to mislead voters.
Our district has resoundingly rejected the extreme left policies and ideas of Biden, Harris and George Soros many times before and on November 3rd I expect they will make that clear again. Make a plan to vote early or on Election Day!

Unfortunately, my opponent thinks lying to voters is her only path to gaining traction. She claims I voted to cut Medicare and Social Security. I did neither. Medicare benefits remain untouched, and I will always defend them. I not only never voted to cut Social Security, I voted to cut taxes on Social Security benefits for Americans who paid into the system their entire lives.

She also claims I voted against local control over data centers. I have consistently said local control is paramount and local authorities must have the final say.

While spreading these disgusting lies, she hides her own record: nearly 20 years working in Washington for the Obama and Biden administrations, Kamala Harris’ campaign, and radical progressive organizations funded by George Soros.

Voters in the 9th District deserve better than lies and a concealed record in a cheap attempt to win their votes.

Listen to my interview with Bob Cordaro, where we set the record straight. Click here or below to listen.

It appears my opponent thinks the only way she can be successful in her campaign is by lying to you. There is no truth whatsoever to her claim that I support tax cuts for data centers. Our government works best when local authorities and officials make the final decision. The extreme left has no solutions, only lies. Click here or below to listen to me set the record straight.

IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: What’s at stake on Election Day.

We are 9 days out from election day, and Democrats are fully embracing a far-Left agenda that will bankrupt hardworking American families and turn our country into a lawless sanctuary for criminals.

In their own words, Democrats are unified behind their extreme agenda:

  • Grant mass amnesty to millions of criminal illegal aliens
  • Release criminals from jails
  • Defund the police
  • Fight for the gender mutilation of children
  • Raise taxes on hardworking Americans
  • Implement the communist seizure of private property
  • Strip Americans from their private insurance and force them onto government-controlled healthcare
  • Completely eliminate the American oil and gas industry
  • Support reparations
  • Reintegrate woke DEI agendas
  • Embrace communism

The contrast could not be clearer: While Democrats cater to their far-Left base, President Trump and Republicans are working tirelessly to hold criminals accountable, keep families safe, and put hardworking Americans first.

We recently hosted Wyoming County Republicans on a tour of the US Capitol. We love welcoming our friends from the 9th District to our nation's capitol!

Great to be back in Towanda with so many friends and supporters! A huge thank you to Commissioner Doug McLinko for his continued support, leadership, and tireless work on behalf of Bradford County.

Thank you as well to Commissioner Daryl Miller and Representative Tina Pickett for all they do for our communities. A special thank-you to Henry and Hank Dunn for their continued friendship and support.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support our campaign. With Election Day approaching, we’re working hard to keep Pennsylvania’s 9th District strong, grow our economy, and deliver results for our communities. Let’s finish strong on November 3!

It was great visiting the Bradford Tioga Head Start in Towanda this week to see firsthand the important work they do to prepare the next generation for success and support families in our community.

I am a huge supporter of the Head Start program and their mission to provide children with the educational, health, nutritional, and family services they need to get a great start in life.

I have been a strong supporter of Head Start in Congress and this year voted for an $85 million increase in Head Start funding for FY26.

Thank you to Hank Dunn, Executive Director Wendy Swingle, Assistant Executive Director Kim Sexauer, and everyone at Bradford-Tioga Head Start for having me and for helping children build a strong foundation.

A great evening in Schuylkill County with friends and supporters at the JWR Automobile Museum! A huge thank-you to Brian, Michael, and John Rich and the entire Rich family for their generous hospitality and continued friendship and support. Thank you as well to Representative Jamie Barton and Gretchen Sterns for their support.

It was wonderful to see Commissioners Larry Padora and Boots Hetherington and Wyoming District Attorney Joe Peters. They are strong partners in our work to deliver results for Schuylkill County and all of Pennsylvania.

Election Update:

Yesterday we spent the morning in Harrisburg with a great group of young patriots knocking doors for Congressman Scott Perry, Stacy Garrity for Governor, and the whole republican ticket! These young leaders know exactly what’s at stake this November and are ready to put in the work to elect candidates who will fight to keep America free.
Thank you to Noah Formica, and Turning Point Action for organizing such a strong turnout. Always good to see my friends Cliff Maloney and Scott Presler, who understand that grassroots activism: showing up, knocking doors, and talking to voters is what truly makes a difference!

We are just 9 days to Election Day 2026 on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Last night, always great to join the Lycoming County GOP for their annual Fall Dinner! It was wonderful to see Representatives Jamie Flick and Joe Hamm, and our next Lieutenant Governor, Jason Richey.

Thank you to Chairman Chad Riley and the Lycoming County Republican Committee for bringing everyone together for a great evening!

With November 3 right around the corner, it’s time to rally our friends, neighbors, and families to get out and vote Republican up and down the ballot. Let’s finish strong and deliver a victory for Pennsylvania!

WE ARE ON THE AIR!

Check out to our latest radio ad running across the 9th District. I discuss my background, my commitment to serving Pennsylvania’s 9th District, and why I’m asking for your vote on November 3rd. Hear directly from me. Click here or below to listen.

The Democrats plan to win the upcoming election is not a secret. They are counting on YOU not showing up to vote. We need to disappoint them and Swamp the Vote. Our statewide, congressional, and state legislative candidates are counting on you to support them, so they can continue to bring conservative victories home for the people of our Commonwealth.

Mail-In/Absentee Ballot Instructions:

The last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot is October 27. Completed ballots must be received by November 3 by 8:00 p.m.

May God continue to bless our nation. I look forward to seeing you soon,

Dan Meuser
