Weekend Update - 8.23.26
Good morning, and welcome to our Weekend Update. Earlier this week, it was great to join Speaker Mike Johnson and Congressman Rob Bresnahan for an event focused on supporting the brave men and women of law enforcement who work every day to keep our communities safe. Under Speaker Johnson’s leadership, House Republicans are working alongside President Trump to restore law and order, secure our border, combat the flow of deadly fentanyl, and stand firmly with the officers who put their lives on the line to protect us. Despite holding one of the narrowest majorities in congressional history, the Speaker continues to unite us and deliver results for the American people. Rob has also been a strong addition to Pennsylvania’s Republican congressional delegation and an effective partner in representing the priorities of northeastern Pennsylvania. We are fortunate to have his leadership in Washington and his commitment to the hardworking families and communities he serves. Protecting our Republican House majority will be critical to maintaining the progress we have made and continuing to move our country in the right direction. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Speaker Johnson, Rob, and our entire Republican team to deliver for Pennsylvania and advance our shared conservative values.
