Good afternoon, and welcome to our Weekend Update. For 47 years, Iran has been ruled by an evil regime that has spread death and terrorism across the region and the world. President Trump has given the Iranian leadership many opportunities to negotiate and relinquish their terrorist goals. It is up to their leadership to step up, do what’s best for the people of Iran, and to abandon their self-imposed mindset of martyrdom. Good afternoon, and welcome to our Weekend Update. Democrats defunded the police. Now they want to defund ICE. It's the same playbook, but with a different target. They allowed 20 million illegals to come into our country, including known criminals and individuals on the terror watch list. ICE exists because of what they did. And now they want to eliminate the very agency cleaning up the mess they created. The White House has repeatedly come to the table to negotiate DHS funding. Democrats claim we’re not negotiating enough, but what have they done? They’ve created chaos, impacting agencies like TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard, and then turn around and blame Republicans for the consequences. We are in a heightened state of national concern because the Left refuses to act in the best interest of the country. House Republicans have done our job. Weekly Update - 3.15.26

Dear Friend, Good afternoon, and welcome to our Weekend Update. Earlier this week, I joined “Mornings with Maria” on Fox Business to discuss how President Donald J. Trump’s plan to end Iran’s reign of terror will help restore stability in the Middle East. As these operations continue, the House will soon consider additional funding to ensure our military has everything it needs to protect American interests and lives abroad. At the same time, Democrats in Congress need to stop playing politics and vote to fully fund DHS so our homeland security agencies can operate at full strength once again.
