Accountable Government. Protected Taxpayers.
Accountable Government. Protected Taxpayers.
Every dollar Washington spends comes from someone who worked to earn it. Americans deserve a government that respects their money, operates transparently, and delivers results. That means rooting out waste, stopping fraud, and holding federal agencies accountable for how taxpayer dollars are used.
· Crack down on fraud and abuse. Strengthen oversight of federal programs to identify fraudulent payments, expose wrongdoing, and ensure resources reach the Americans they are intended to serve.
· Cut wasteful spending. Scrutinize federal expenditures, eliminate duplicative programs, and demand measurable results from taxpayer-funded initiatives.
· Protect Americans from financial scams. Strengthen coordination among law enforcement, financial institutions, technology companies, and federal agencies to stop criminals from stealing Americans’ savings.
· Demand transparency and accountability. Require federal agencies to explain their spending decisions, address failures, and take corrective action when taxpayer funds are mismanaged.
· Prevent improper payments. Improve verification and oversight so government programs can detect problems before money goes out the door and recover funds paid improperly.
Restoring trust in government starts with accountability. Protecting taxpayers must be a daily responsibility, and Washington must be held to the same standards of responsibility that American families follow every day.
