Before I recap our week, I encourage you to watch this interview with my colleague and friend, Congresswoman and Conference Chair Elise Stefanik. Elise delivers a very strong, intelligent, and truthful response to typical left-wing talking points and makes the case for a Donald Trump presidency. The tagline shown in the video clip below is another example of the typical weak, biased press attempting to besmirch a clear constitutional argument for election integrity and the need to maximize all American citizen registered voter’s turnout, whether by mail-in or at the polls. This week, I visited the southern border, and what I saw confirmed what we already knew – the situation on the ground was an absolute catastrophe. This week, I joined Speaker Mike Johnson on a visit to Eagle Pass, TX, to see the disaster at our southern border first-hand again. This trip marked my third visit to the border, and the crisis is only worsening because of President Biden’s failed leadership. Millions of illegal immigrants are crossing our border, deadly drugs like fentanyl are flowing into our country, and communities are facing billions of dollars in expenses to deal with the influx of migrants. While the Biden Administration will not take corrective action, House Republicans have passed H.R. 2, the strongest border reform package in history. Customs and Border Protection officials told us that reimplementing the Trump-era Remain in Mexico Policy would alone reduce the crisis by nearly 80%.

If Biden’s border policy is intended to secure the border, it’s a complete and utter failure. If his border policy is intended to let millions of illegal immigrants into our country, it’s a total success.

IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: It’s a new year, but the same border crisis.

After a record-setting month of illegal border crossings capped a year in which at least 2.5+ million known illegal immigrants crossed into the country, there’s no relief in sight.

Even “sanctuary cities” are feeling the squeeze — and Democrats’ inaction is to blame.

Biden and Democrats have rejected every border security proposal from Republicans, including House Republicans’ border security legislation passed almost 250 days ago, and scoffed at virtually any meaningful change to immigration law.

Instead, they’ve bowed to the far left’s demand for an open border as they continue their push for mass amnesty.

In the meantime, illegal immigrants are being released directly into communities across the country to await court dates seven years from now.

According to Karine Jean-Pierre, that’s taking it “very seriously."

On Saturday, alongside several of my colleagues, I had the opportunity to kick off the first day of the 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show, the nation's largest indoor agricultural exposition!

I encourage you to explore the Pennsylvania Farm Show to witness the quality and diversity of Pennsylvania's thriving agriculture industry and the individuals behind it. With agriculture making up 10% of jobs in the Commonwealth and adding a whopping $132 billion to the state's GDP, this event is a remarkable celebration of Pennsylvania's essential farming industry.
