State Representative Jerry Knowles Endorses Dan Meuser for Congress

POTTSVILLE– Today, State Representative Jerry Knowles announced his endorsement of Dan Meuser for Congress.

“Dan Meuser will make an excellent United States Congressman. I am proud to join many of my colleagues in the state legislature in endorsing Dan Meuser for Congress,” Knowles said. “In Schuylkill County, we have longed to have a problem-solving conservative member of Congress, like Dan, to represent us in Washington, D.C.

“Dan is pro-life and strongly supports our 2nd Amendment rights. Most importantly, he is passionate about eliminating school property taxes. In the State House, I have worked to reduce the size of the legislature, reform our government and cut wasteful spending. That’s why I support Dan’s campaign and back his call to “Drain the Swamp” by enacting term limits and supporting a balanced-budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

Meuser added, "Representative Jerry Knowles is a reformer and a leader in Harrisburg. I deeply appreciate his support of our campaign. Additionally, if elected, I will be looking to Representative Knowles and his colleagues for advice and counsel as we work together to represent the needs of the constituents of the 9th Congressional District.”

Representative Knowles represents the residents of Pennsylvania's 124th Legislative District which includes portions of Berks, Carbon and Schuylkill Counties for five terms. Knowles serves on the House Judiciary, State Government, Professional Licensure and Liquor Control committees.

Dan Meuser is the Republican nominee  for Congress. He served 25 years in the private sector and another four as Secretary of Revenue for PA. To learn more go to www.meuserforcongress.com
