SHAVERTOWN – Today, Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis announced her support for Dan Meuser for Congress in the race for the 11th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.
“I am proud to announce my support for Dan Meuser for Congress, because I am confident he will work with local officials and law enforcement across the 11th Congressional District to help ensure we have the support and resources to enact our plans to fight the illegal drug crisis,” Salvantis said. “We are fighting drug overdoses with regularity in Luzerne County and I have had numerous conversations with Dan on this important issue. I know Dan will take an active role working with and supporting our drug task forces and members of law enforcement to learn what else we need to tackle the many problems that arise from proliferation of drugs in our communities and fully support law enforcement and their efforts to combat crime and ensure public safety.”

Stefanie Salavantis has served as Luzerne County District Attorney since 2012.
Dan Meuser is a candidate for Congress representing the 11thDistrict. Dan has served as a private sector businessman responsible for helping create thousands of jobs and as Secretary of the Department of Revenue for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
