POTTSVILLE - Incumbent Republican U.S. Congressman Dan Meuser’s campaign released the below list of endorsements from state and local elected officials and grassroots leaders as he seeks re-election to the 9^thCongressional District.

“Over the past three years, I have had the privilege to work alongside our state and local elected officials across the 9^th District. They work incredibly hard for the people of the 9^th District, and we have worked to create relationships and synergies that have allowed us to solve problems at all levels of government.

“Today, our campaign is pleased to announce the endorsements of our committed Republicans in the Pennsylvania State House. I am honored to have their support and I look forward to continuing to work with these individuals to continue improving the lives of our constituents in the 9^th Congressional District." 

State Representative Frank Ryan said, “As a state representative in the PA House of Representatives and as a retired Marine reserve colonel, I’ve been honored to serve with Congressman Meuser. I have seen Dan in our district more than I’ve seen any other official from Washington D.C. He says what he means, and he means when he says. He has my total and unequivocal support.”

And State Representative Tim Twardzik added, “Congressman Meuser had the opportunity to run for higher office but recognized that if he were to run it would likely eliminate the ninth congressional district with redistricting. It was because of this, that he chose to stay and run for re-election to keep serving the people here in the ninth and continue to make an impact.”

The 9^th District currently consists of the following counties, Carbon, Columbia, Schuylkill and Lebanon Counties as well as parts of Berks, Luzerne, Montour, and Northumberland Counties. In 2023, the 9^th District will consist of Bradford, Columbia, Lebanon, Montour, Northumberland, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wyoming and parts of Berks, Luzerne, and Lycoming counties.
