LUZERNE COUNTY – Today, State Senators Bob Mensch and John Rafferty announced their endorsements of Dan Meuser for Congress.
“Dan Meuser will make an excellent United States Congressman and I am proud to join many of my fellow colleagues and scores of local grassroots Republican leaders in support of his campaign,” Mensch said. “Dan has been successful in the private sector and has served the public with distinction as our Secretary of Revenue. He wants to work to get things done in Washington, D.C. and that is exactly the type of person we need in Congress.”
Rafferty added, “Dan Meuser is a tremendous candidate and will be an effective Congressman who will focus on results, not rhetoric. I am honored to add my support to his campaign and I know the voters of Berks County and the entire 9th Congressional District can trust him to represent us in Washington, D.C.”

Senator Bob Mensch, serves as Majority Caucus Chairman, represents the constituents of the 24th District (including parts of Berks, Bucks and Montgomery counties) bringing to the state Senate more than 35 years of business and management experience, coupled with political leadership and public service.
Senator John Rafferty represents the residents of Pennsylvania’s 44th Senatorial District which includes parts of Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties. He was re-elected for a fourth term in the Senate in November of 2014. Senator Rafferty currently serves as the Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee.
