Mahanoy City Mayor Dennis Wiessner Endorses Dan Meuser for Congress

POTTSVILLE – Today, the Meuser for Congress Campaign announced that Dan Meuser, Republican nominee for the 9th Congressional District, has received an endorsement from Mahanoy City Mayor Dennis Wiessner.

“Dan Meuser is the conservative problem solver we need serving us in Congress,” said Mayor Wiessner. “Often times in Washington, we witness too many elected officials who are good at finding problems, but don’t seem nearly as interested in doing the hard work to fix them. We need a Congressman who is willing to roll up his sleeves and fight to create job opportunities, invest in infrastructure, fix our broken immigration system and take on the opioid crisis. I am more than confident Dan will do just that. On Election Day, I would ask everyone to join me in voting for Dan Meuser for Congress.”

Dan added, “I have gotten to know Mayor Wiessner over the course of this campaign and he is a true public servant who is deeply committed to Mahanoy City. Our campaign welcomes his support and we look forward to working together to support local communities like Mahanoy City.”

Mahanoy City Mayor Dennis Wiessner was elected in 2017.

Dan Meuser is a Candidate for US Congress. Dan has served both as a private sector businessman responsible for helping create thousands of jobs and as Secretary of the Department of Revenue for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Dan has been endorsed by countless elected officials, including Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello and McAdoo Borough Mayor Dane Watro.
